Rick Perlman has over 25 years of experience as an attorney, the bulk of it representing business clients as their general counsel in a
wide variety of transactions. Rick joined the Firm in the early ‘80s and has been a partner since 1986.

AREAS OF LEGAL SPECIALIZATION
Rick's practice is concentrated in general business law (including business start-ups, risk management, intellectual property,
negotiations, contracts, licenses, acquisitions, sales, leases, spin-offs, reorganizations, and other commercial transactions),
employee relations and benefits (including COBRA, ERISA, and deferred compensation), and financing (including debt and equity securities).
An increasing volume of Rick's work has included international transactions and he heads up the Firm's involvement in LAWorld,
an international association of over 30 independent law firms in jurisdictions worldwide. This aspect of Rick's practice has facilitated
the Firm's ability to provide its clients with prompt and cost-effective access to outstanding legal service throughout the U.S. and
the world.
